Per our earlier discussion, we are planning our next Organizer's forum. This next event will be a bit more centrally located for those who might be coming from a bit further up north.
This is not a formal "meeting", but it is an opportunity to discuss ideas, reiterate common sense for organizing and hear other concerns and suggestions. Above all, it is a chance for us to meet face to face. I strongly encourage organizers to attend, even if they just want to meet/ greet and have a beer with us.
This event is also an opportunity for those interested in becoming an event organizer to learn more about what is involved, ask questions and perhaps sign up to lead some events for us (trust me, we can never have enough good, active organizers).
