Ouzel Falls & Ouzel Lake Hike

I really enjoy this area of RMNP. A bit less crowded than the main section, and some great scenery if you like rushing water and water falls. We will plan to hike to Ouzel Falls and spend a bit of time walking behind the falls as well. After this, we will continue another 2 miles to Ouzel Lake where we will take a break and have some lunch before heading back.

Bring spikes, there is some snow by the lake.

Timed Entry starts at 9 am so we plan on being there before that.

We are meeting in Lyons to carpool, if you want to skip that then be at the trailhead at 7:45
