It's been several years since I last hiked Willow Lakes, a sin that needs to be rectified. Willow Lakes is a 12.2-mile out-and-back hike with 2762' of elevation gain. If desired, Salmon Lake can be added on the way back, with a couple of additional miles.
This is a gloriously beautiful hike, well worth the drive from Denver. Altitude at the top is just over 11,400'.
Trailhead parking is a bit limited, so carpooling is advisable. If interested, carpooling from Woolly Mammouth PNR, section GG, can be arranged for 6:25.

Dogs are permitted on-leash and you need to clean up after your pet as necessary.
