Heart Lake & Rogers Pass - James Peak Wilderness

Starting from East Portal hike the South Bolder Creek trail to Rogers Pass Lake and then onto Heart Lake. This is an out and back on a rock and root strewn trail with several creek crossings on good bridges. 9 miles round trip with 2,600' elevation gain. You'll be serenaded by the sound of the creek much of the way. We'll take a lunch break at Heart Lake.
