Herman Gulch Trail
Details
The Herman Gulch Trail makes for an ideal day hike roughly an hour west of Denver in the Front Range. This wonderful trail is ideal for summer wildflowers. This was my first T&A hike I led few years ago. I try to do this hike at least once a year.

🏔️ Last-Minute Hiking Adventure: One Spot Just Opened! 🌲
Friends—a spot unexpectedly became available for an awesome hiking trip to North Cascades National Park in Washington! One of our five hikers had to cancel after a foot injury, so we’re looking for one fun, adventurous person to join our friendly group.
We leave early Saturday, August 1, fly to Seattle, and return Wednesday evening, August 5.
The plan:
- A short warm-up hike on Saturday
- We'll all decide on longer, spectacular hikes Sunday through Tuesday
- Possibly a relaxed farewell walk Wednesday morning before heading to the airport
Estimated costs per person:
- Airbnb: $386
- SUV rental: $75
- Plus airfare and food
Yes, it’s short notice—but sometimes the best adventures are spontaneous! If gorgeous mountain scenery, great hikes, and four cool new trail companions sound like your kind of getaway, call or text me ASAP at 720-341-8006!
