🏔️ MANITOU INCLINE ADVENTURE
### Saturday, September 12th
Who’s ready for a bucket-list Colorado adventure?!
We’re heading to Manitou Springs to take on the famous Manitou Incline together! Come challenge yourself, get an incredible workout, enjoy the Colorado outdoors, and spend the morning with an awesome community.
You have two transportation options: ride the Party Bus with us from Summit for $30, or drive yourself and meet us at the Incline.

## 🚨 FIRST: RESERVE YOUR SPOT
We need everyone to complete these steps ASAP because the Party Bus is limited to 40 people AND reservations are required for the Manitou Incline.

If you're driving yourself, you do NOT need to pay the $30.

# 🚌 OPTION 1: TAKE THE PARTY BUS
Meet at:
Summit Nutrition

Littleton, CO 80123
Arrive by: 5:45 AM
Party Bus leaves: 6:00 AM SHARP
Please arrive early enough to use the bathroom, fill your water bottle, get settled, etc. The bus will leave at 6:00 AM.
One of the biggest benefits of taking the Party Bus is that we'll take you right to the trailhead. No worrying about parking or shuttling to and from the starting area.
You'll also be able to leave extra belongings on the bus while we hike.
The Party Bus is $30 per person and limited to 40 spots.

# 🚗 OPTION 2: DRIVE YOURSELF
If you prefer to drive yourself, meet us at:
538 Ruxton Ave
Manitou Springs, CO
Our Incline reservation is planned for approximately 7:30 AM, so please give yourself plenty of time to drive, park, and get to the meeting location.
If you're carpooling privately:
• Drivers: Please arrive with a full tank of gas.
• Riders: Please offer your driver gas money.
• Everyone: Be on time and communicate if your plans change.

# ⏰ ESTIMATED DAY TIMELINE
5:45 AM — Party Bus riders arrive at Summit
6:00 AM SHARP — Party Bus leaves Summit
~7:30 AM — Arrive in Manitou Springs / Incline reservation time
7:30 AM — Begin the Incline or Barr Trail
We'll stagger our start based on hiking experience:
- Fastest/most experienced hikers first
- Moderate hikers next
- Slower/less experienced hikers after
Incline climb: approximately 45 minutes–1 hour 45 minutes depending on pace
Once we reach the top, we'll have time to rest, eat a snack, take photos, enjoy the views, and hang out together.
Hike down: approximately 45 minutes using the hiking trail
We'll regroup at the bottom before heading back to Littleton.
Drive back to Summit: approximately 1 hour 30 minutes
### 🥤 GOAL: BACK AT SUMMIT AROUND 1:00 PM
Summit will be open when we return, so you can grab a recovery shake and tea after the adventure!

# 🥾 NOT READY FOR THE INCLINE? DO BARR TRAIL!
We want you to come even if the Incline isn't the right challenge for you.
Barr Trail is our alternative option.
It starts from the same general location and allows you to hike at a more traditional pace while the rest of the group tackles the Incline.
We'll coordinate the groups so everyone can reconnect and come back down together.
This means you can still be part of the adventure without having to complete the Incline!

# ⚠️ PLEASE KNOW BEFORE YOU COMMIT
Please research the Manitou Incline before signing up.
The Incline is a very challenging hike with significant elevation gain and steep terrain. This isn't a casual morning walk.
We want everyone to understand the challenge, choose the option appropriate for them, and arrive prepared so we can have a safe and FUN day together.
