Bergen Peak Trail - challenging
Details
This Bergen Peak hike is one of my favorite -- it's challenging with good distance, nice elevation gain and amazing view from the summit. You'll see beautiful views of lush green meadows and forests that run for miles. You'll see Mount Blue Sky, and on a clear day, you can even see downtown Denver. The trail begins with a gentle climb through wide open meadows before moving into a beautiful dense forest. There are many switchbacks along the way to assist with the elevation changes.

Duration: 6 - 6.5 hrs approx.

Elk Meadow Stagecoach Trailhead
We will hike at a medium brisk pace - so no very fast or slow hikers.
