2026 Events Brainstorming + Community Builders Call

Friends—if you want to meet up this year and you’ve got an idea you’ve been thinking about, this is for you. Remember, Trails & Tribulations is about building a community with our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.

For this year, I’d love your ideas for events, meetups, and gatherings—both in-person and virtual. Nothing is too small or too big.

You might want to:
• Host one simple gathering this year
• Organize 12 events
• Or just throw out one of your 200 ideas All ideas are welcome. Truly.

This is for:
• Women-only spaces
• Events open to everyone (men, women, kids, dogs)

Looking for someone to help organize or host events locally—whether that’s a board game night, coffee meetups, hikes, dinners, prayer nights, workshops, sports game, salsa night, silent reading meetup, or something entirely new. The heart of this community is local connection, and that starts when you are willing to gather people in your own community.

Bonus points if you’re open to meeting up with people in your area.

This community is for you.
It starts by showing up.
It deepens through conversation.
And before you know it, you’re doing life together.
That’s community.

We’ll meet weekly on Google Meet + follow along with The Bible in 52 Weeks by Dr. Kimberly D. Moore.

-Meetup event here. Say going so you have the weekly reminder

Can’t stay the whole hour? No problem! Jump in for the first or last 30 minutes — we’d love to have you, even if it’s just part of the time. Remember, sometimes, it's all about accountability. Just grab the book, and join on days that you can! (Honestly, I already know at least two dates I can't join myself, but thankfully, it looks like we have someone who volunteered to co-lead with me, plus anyone can lead the weekly discussion :))

What to expect:

• 10 Minutes - How has God shown up in your life the within the last week?
• 35 minutes min study discussion
• 15 min prayer + prayer requests

I can’t wait to grow together in God’s Word and in friendship with each of you.
