Hike & Pray: Mt. Dickerman (strenuous)

Details
Join me for a Mt. Dickerman Hike + Praise + Prayer!
There’s something powerful about hitting the trail and letting nature reset your soul. Mount Dickerman gives us that chance — a steady climb through old-growth forest, wildflower meadows, and finally, a stunning panoramic view at the summit.
At the top, we’ll pause for a time of prayer and praise — giving thanks for strong bodies, God’s beauty all around us, and the gift of community.
Hike Details:
• Trail: Mount Dickerman
• Distance: 8.2 miles roundtrip
• Elevation Gain: 3,975 ft
• Summit Elevation: 5,723 ft
• Trail Info: WTA Link https://www.wta.org/go-hiking/hikes/mount-dickerman
Please Note:
• This is a strenuous hike with steady elevation gain — please gauge your readiness honestly.
• Hiking poles and microspikes are needed due to lingering snow and slick spots near the top.
• I hike at a moderate pace and take breaks to hydrate, rest, and enjoy the view — no rush, no pressure.
Meet-Up Info:
• We’ll meet at 9:00 AM in the IGA Granite Falls parking lot to carpool or caravan.
• There is no cell reception once you’re on Mountain Loop Highway, so please plan accordingly and be on time.
What to Bring:
• Plenty of water, snacks/lunch, and sturdy hiking shoes
• Microspikes and hiking poles (a must!)
• Layers for changing mountain weather
• An open heart for connection and worship
If you’re craving connection — with God, with others, with the wild — I’d love to have you join me.
Let’s hike high, worship deep, and be reminded of the One who made it all.
