Let’s adventure outside and go to Lake 22. This is open to all! Men, women and dogs.

Lake 22 is one of the most iconic hikes off Mountain Loop Highway. The trail winds through lush old-growth forest, crosses charming wooden boardwalks, and steadily climbs to a stunning alpine lake surrounded by rocky cliffs. On a clear day, the mountain reflections on the water are unreal.

It’s well-maintained but expect roots, rocks, and possible muddy sections — a good, steady climb overall.

Trail Details:
• ~5.4 miles roundtrip
• ~1,350 ft elevation gain
• Rated: Moderate

📅 Date: April 12
🚗 Meet:
• 2 pm at Granite Falls IGA (to caravan/carpool)
• 2:20 pm at the trailhead (park / bathroom)
• 2:30 pm start hike at trailhead

There’s no reception once you’re on Mountain Loop Highway, so we’ll caravan from IGA Granite Falls.

At some point along the trail, we’ll pause to pray for each other — covering one another in encouragement and support. 🤍

Bring layers, sturdy hiking shoes, and snacks. 🥾💧

Afterward, for those who want to eat, let’s grab food in town — either the Thai restaurant or Buzz Inn Steakhouse.

Can’t wait to adventure and connect with you all! 🌿

**if you need/want to carpool, please write in the comments so others can see. (I actually need a ride from IGA Granite Falls now ;) my husband has a Search and Rescue training so he’s dropping me off at the parking lot).
