We will need shuttle yet from Jacksonville Airport to Swannee River Outpost in Liveoak, Florida. I will work on that. We will need to attain a permit to float Sill waters outside of Stephen C Foster State Park where we start our float.
We will attempt 15 to 20 mile days.
It is best to have a free standing tent as we will be occasionally staying in wire shelters off the ground with wood floors. You will need a stove and water filter. we are bringing an extra rain fly.
I also made reservations at a private River camp named Lem Griffis Fish Camp for night one. 7 miles. The cost is $7 per person. Some camps were flooded last year so we may be camping on beaches on our way down river. Animals: alligators, bear, snakes, raccoons, fresh water otters, turtles, two kinds, deer, wild boar, etc. Bring bear barrel for food. I have seen coolers on videos. any questions please call Linda, 3609075096
