CPR/AED/Wilderness First Aid custom training course for TCO Trip Leaders

This is a custom education course being offered to Trails Club of Oregon (TCO) Trip Leaders and TCO members that commit to become TCO Trip Leader this year. A small non-refundable deposit is required and a commitment.

Greetings -
The Trails Club of Oregon is offering a CPR/AED/Wilderness First Aid course given by professional instructors at Tyee Lodge, Sunday Sept 28 at 9am sharp. There is limited room of 12 students within this class. This custom course is geared towards folks who are already TCO Trip Leaders, or have serious interest/commitment to become a TCO Trip Leader.
This is a First Aid renewal class for the TCO Trips Leaders that took the class 2 years ago.

For folks that wish to become TCO Trip Leaders and take this course, a commitment is requested.

For those interested in hearing about what it takes to become a TCO Trip Leader, please join our monthly 1hr ZOOM meeting. This informal monthly meeting is also posted on TCO Meetup.

The course will include education essential for leading wilderness trips.

Where: Tyee Lodge
When: Sunday Sept 28 9a-1p (Q&A session afterwards)
How much: $25 non-refundable deposit paid in advance (for TCO members). The non-TCO member cost would be $95.

If you wish to participate and wish to lead TCO trips , it does require your commitment ($25 non-refundable deposit for TCO members). Your deposit will go to TCO to offset the cost of this custom class.

All education materials will be provided. A 2yr CPR/AED/FA
certificate will be presented to each attendee at the end of class.

The weekend of Sept 27 is a Tyee event weekend at Tyee Lodge. See Paul's Wildcat Cleanup event on the same weekend. PeteC will be host Tyee on this weekend. It is a great chance to meet other TCO folks!

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED: You can add yourself to the Waitlist and I will be in contact with you about your interest. Only folks on the RSVP list will be able to attend, after paying the $25 deposit (for TCO members).
I am sorry there is not enough room for everyone, yet we are gauging interest in future education classes.
