Greetings -

If you have never hiked the Elevator Shaft trail to Nesika, this is your chance!

This hike is considered a Trails Club of Oregon membership hike if you wish to join the Trails Club of Oregon as a member. Membership is completely optional for this hike!
Please join us for a beautiful forest hike to Nesika Lodge by way of the Elevator Shaft and Cougar Rock trails.
Trails Club of Oregon (TCO) members and non-members are welcome to join.
We will Meetup in front of the bathrooms at Multnomah Falls Lodge at 8am sharp.
From there we will hike the 400 trail east, then turn up the Elevator Shaft trail. There are scramble sections - please bring gloves and wear long pants. Almost all of the poison oak has been removed, but be prepared by wearing long pants and gloves.
Once we complete the Elevator Shaft trail, we shall take the Cougar Rock trail east and head to Nesika Lodge for lunch.
We will spend some time at Nesika Lodge to eat our lunch, check out the lodge, and visit a spectacular viewpoint before returning the Multnomah Falls parking area via the Larch Mtn trail.
We will hike through the Ornament Trail on our return.
Please bring your own lunch and water.
