Urban Hike – NW Portland

Join us for a relaxed 2-hour urban hike beginning at Wallace Park in NW Portland. Meet on Raleigh St, between 25th and 26th, on the sidewalk bordering the park. We’ll explore tree-lined streets, neighborhood stairways, and tucked-away trails that highlight the charm and character of Portland’s westside hills. (The faster paced, conditioning hikers will start at Wallace Park, too.)

This is a casual pace outing, perfect for conversation, enjoying the scenery, and getting some movement without the rush. No special gear is required beyond comfortable walking shoes and water. Be prepared for any weather, and as the days get darker, sooner, have a headlamp or other light source.

Arrive early to find parking and sign in. Cost is $2 for non Trails Club members.

After the hike: I you are interested, we’ll meet up with the conditioning hike group for a shared meal and social time at a restaurant in the area — a great opportunity to connect with fellow outdoor enthusiasts.
