If you have never been to the Ornament Trail on the Multnomah Basin, this is the perfect time to go during the holidays!

When: Meetup 945am at mile 10 E. Larch Mtn Rd ("Snowgate")
Pass: None needed
Fees: Free to all
Distance: 7-ish miles
Elevation gain: 700 ft
Please bring a lunch and an ornament to hang!

We will meetup 9:45am Saturday morning at Mile 10 E. Larch Mtn Rd ("The Snowgate"). At 10am we will drive in Palmer Mill Rd about 2.5 miles to the "brown gate" where we will park our cars and start the hike to Ornament Trail and Nesika Lodge.

Well-behaved dog are welcome.

We shall hike the Multnomah Basin Rd to the Multnomah Plateau, visit the Ornament Trail to hang ornaments, then hike to Nesika Lodge for a brief tour and lunch.

Nesika Lodge will not be hosted this weekend, so please bring a lunch.

We will hike Cougar Rock trail on our way back and return to our cars.
I don't expect snow on the plateau.
Please bring microspikes and rain gear just in case.
