Pyeatt Draw Yearly 4x4 Round-up

Details

We sure have come a long way in a short couple years and we want to show our appreciation by hosting a weekend event for everyone. With our small group runs, we don't get a chance to meet everyone and thought this might be a good way to do that. So please join us for Trailsoffroad's first-ever weekend round-up. We are getting together at the famous Pyeatt Draw to camp and enjoy some incredible four-wheeling in the pines.

This is a weekend event beginning Friday evening and ending Sunday afternoon. We will have numerous runs for all difficulty levels happening over the course of the weekend. See the schedule (coming soon) of runs listed below to find which one works best for you. You can also just plan on coming by for a little while to say hi. Either way, we know you'll enjoy the area and you'll meet some truly friendly wheelers.

---------------NEW INFORMATION--------------------
The final details for the event can be found below. The easy trail run requires true 4x4 and off-road type tires, no street tires. If you do not want to go on any 4x4 trails but still want to enjoy the mountain air, please come out, there are numerous scenic roads in the area and you can watch some action along the Pyeatt Parallel. Please visit the Trailsoffroad.com website and review the trails in the Payson area. We have added a few new ones that have different options for camping. Download the free gpx tracks to help you find your way.

Event Location:
We are setting up camp along the Pyeatt Draw Parallel trail. https://www.trailsoffroad.com/trails/1886-pyeatt-draw-parallel-arizona

Exit Houston Mesa Road, travel 5 miles on FR198
LOOK FOR THE YELLOW SAFETY VEST and follow the trail across the wash to the camping area.

We will be camping and meeting along the North side of the trail once you cross the wash, after waypoint 1. There are no services of any type. It's primitive but has really nice tall pines for shade.

Campers and trailers - you will struggle on the beat up "road" leading to the group camping spot. It's gotten really rough in a couple sections during the climb up 198. There are great camping and staging spots not far from camp along FR198 after exiting Houston Mesa Road.

Send me a message if you have a question or come find me at camp.
