Join award-winning, published author Bernadette Wagner for a journey into Writing and Meditation. This workshop is for all writers or want to be writers! Beginners welcome!
Meditation is a proven tool for improving focus, calming the body and mind, and tapping into the subconscious -- all of which can help a writer meet the challenges that arise in a writing life. In this session we will explore how breathwork, creative visualization, and guided meditation can strengthen a writing -- or any creative -- practice.
Bernadette Wagner has built a meditation practice alongside her writing practice through work and study with Canadian author and poet, Betsy Warland, Insight Meditation teacher, Dana Anjali, Beat poet, Diane di Prima, the "Mama of Dada," Sheri-D Wilson, Zen Buddhist, Natalie Goldberg, and the Training In Power Academy of Meditation & Healing Founder, Faye Fitzgerald, to name a few. An award-winning and published author, editor, and teacher, Bernadette will share what’s worked for her over her two decades of study and practice.
