In Stereo-Type, We spend the first fifteen minutes making a tea, and suggesting songs to build a playlist for the hour ahead. Then, everyone settles in to their own spot and works on writing individually for an hour. We let the tunes unravel the day’s knots.
Type on computer, write by hand or even BYO typewriter. Fiction, poetry, journaling, whimsical strange prose, all kinds of writing allowed, but we encourage working on writing that feels satisfying, free or uplifting. A space for yourself, rather than forcing yourself to continue that work report, dreary overdue assignment or doomscrolling.
Not a facilitated space, but writing prompts and inspiration is available around the room to peruse. Come and stereo-type <3
