Transcend Tech Manchester - "Generative AI: Hype to Reality"

Details

Our latest Transcend Tech event will see us journey into the world of Generative AI (ChatGPT, Bard, PaLM 2, LLaMa, Stable Diffusion, and the rest) - starting from what is it and why is it suddenly everywhere, and then focusing on the real-world impact of this apparently revolutionary technology. Looking beyond the hype, are all of our jobs really at risk ? Who is using it in reality, and what sorts of problems is it solving ? How could you benefit from it on a personal level ?

We will bring together industry experts and practitioners to look at the real-world usage and impact of the tech that is sweeping the world and has already made and destroyed fortunes, even before being widely deployed. What is it good for and how can you use it now, never mind what might it be good for in 5-10 years ?

Date: Tuesday 6th June
Time: 17:30 – 20:00
Location: No.2, Circle Square, 1 Symphony Park, Manchester M1 7FS
