Details
Hello today Wednesday September 27th from 4pm and onward we are hosting a special guest at the Buddha Den. We Welcome Acupuncturist Dr. James.
I personally have not yet met Dr. James though I’m excited to meet him as I’ve heard much praise of his work from some good friends that know him and have been treated by him! One of my friends will be here to introduce Dr. James and share many of Dr. James successes including his own mother who Dr. James saved her life after having a stroke.
Dr. James is Korean and was trained in Korea he has worked in an office here in Los Angeles for a very long time until the Covid thing happened. He is now a mobile acupuncturist holding sessions at different locations.
If you like Acupuncture & Cupping stop in for a session or if you are just curious about it and want to learn more we will be here from 4pm - 9pm
There’s no need to make an appointment or pay in advance if you decide to have a session you can pay Dr. James directly his session cost is $50. Presently l am unfamiliar with his payment forms I suggest cash.
If you enjoy the crystal light bed every 45 minutes i’ll do a drawing for who wins to get their treatment under/on the crystal light bed.
This is impromptu so I’ll only be serving tea, honey, coffee and a few goodies! If you feel like bringing something to share you are more than welcome to.
There’s so many benefits to acupuncture and cupping and so much to say about it this just scratch’s the surface, I copied this from a John Hopkins medical article on acupuncture.
Acupuncture points are believed to stimulate the central nervous system. This, in turn, releases chemicals into the muscles, spinal cord, and brain. These biochemical changes may stimulate the body's natural healing abilities and promote physical and emotional well-being.
National Institutes of Health (NIH) studies have shown that acupuncture is an effective treatment alone or in combination with conventional therapies to treat the following:
Nausea caused by surgical anesthesia and cancer chemotherapy
Dental pain after surgery
Addiction
Headaches
Menstrual cramps
Tennis elbow
Fibromyalgia
Myofascial pain
Osteoarthritis
Low back pain
Carpal tunnel syndrome
Asthma
It may also help with stroke rehabilitation.
What conditions may benefit from acupuncture?
Many Americans seek acupuncture treatment for relief of
chronic pain, such as arthritis
or low back pain.
Acupuncture has many expanded uses in other parts of the world.
