Creatives who build lasting careers aren't just good at their craft. They let people in. The opportunity for connection often starts with a photo. Your face on your digital platforms or in publicity for your projects. Being photographed is a chance to share something real and authentic about ourselves — our passion, our personality, our intent.

But most of us struggle to share those things with the lens. And while you're hiding behind your work, your competitors are building personal relationships with your potential clients, collaborators and audiences.

This deeply immersive workshop is designed to unlock your connection to any camera. To guide you through a transformative experience – from camera shy to owning the frame.

Raf is a sound designer, eighteen months into a freelance career that should be going better than it is. The people who've worked with him love working with him. He's sharp, easy to collaborate with, passionate about what sound can do. But none of that comes through online, where the next client is making decisions. He tells himself the work should speak for itself. And it does — to the people who've already heard it. Everyone else scrolls past. His website has no photo. His LinkedIn is a grey silhouette. His Instagram is waveforms and session screenshots — technically impressive, completely impersonal.

Then someone asks him a question that reframes everything: What do you want people to feel when they find you? Not how he looks. What he wants to communicate. Raf realises the camera isn't a mirror — it's a window into his world. A way to let someone across the city, or across the country, feel something about him before they've heard a single track. He stops thinking about being photographed and starts thinking about being found. He walks out with headshots that capture the person his collaborators already know — and that everyone else is about to meet.

THIS WORKSHOP IS FOR:

  • Anyone who feels awkward when a camera is pointed at them
  • Anyone trying to build audiences, collaborations and client lists - who understand that people hire people, not portfolios
  • Anyone who need photos that feel like them, not like a stock image
  • Anyone who's ever been told "you should put yourself out there more"

YOU'LL WALK AWAY WITH:

  • A professional headshot
  • A shift in how you experience being photographed
  • A clear sense of what you want people to feel when they find you online
  • The confidence that comes from being truly seen by a room full of people who get it
  • New connections and relationships
