We tend to think of breath as something simple — automatic, background, almost unremarkable. But the moment you start paying attention, you realise it’s doing far more than keeping you alive.
With every inhale and exhale, your nervous system shifts.
CO₂ levels adjust.
pH changes.
Your heart rhythm recalibrates.
Hormones like dopamine, serotonin, and oxytocin rise and fall.
The body is constantly listening to the breath, responding to it, reorganising itself around it.
And this isn’t new knowledge. Long before science had names for any of this, ancient traditions treated the breath as a bridge between worlds — the physical, the emotional, the intuitive. Yogis, mystics, monks, priestesses… they all understood the breath as a kind of inner technology, something that could steady the mind, open the heart, and shift perception.
Perhaps you feel that inside you, there is already a part that knows this. We will be doing this vis Zoom so I advise using good headphones. Find a place where you can sit upright and which the masterclass and also lie down if you want to for the short practice sessions.
