AIANY Social Science and Architecture Committee Launch

Details

We're excited to announce the launch of the AIANY Social Science and Architecture Committee (http://main.aiany.org/eOCULUS/newsletter/#/edgecollaborations/). Instead of a typical TAP Goes Mobile topic, this session will be a round table discussion among individuals who would like to make a substantive contribution to the topics of social research and architecture going forward.

In lieu of a formal presentation, remarks and provocations will be provided by team members, including:

Sally Augustin, PhD, (http://www.designwithscience.com/aboutsally.html) is a practicing environmental psychologist, specializing in person-centered design, and a principal at Design With Science. She integrates insights from environmental/design psychology, other social/physical sciences, and project specific research to develop places, objects, and services that support desired experiences. Her clients include manufacturers, service providers, design firms, and individuals in North and South America, Europe, and Asia.

A big thanks to Steelcase (http://www.steelcase.com/) who has offered to host us at their Columbus Circle offices!
