Circulator Circle!
Details
D.C.'s red-and-gray Circulator bus--independent of the WMATA Metrobus system--provides dollar-a-ride, limited-stop service on six lines. Three of them are centered in downtown, including one that takes in the national monuments. Our plan is to meet up at Union Station; board a bus on the National Mall route; disembark in time for a short walk to L'Enfant Plaza, where we catch a Circulator headed for Eastern Market; then switch to the Congress Heights-Union Station line to return to our starting point. We'll eat a late lunch at the station's multi-optioned food court as we compare notes on our journey!
NOTE: Many of us were thwarted by a collection of technological and human barriers from completing this adventure last year. (We all were awarded the Badge of the Broken Circle for our efforts. :-). But this time we feel sure we will succeed!
