[In-person] Group volunteering with Haley House

We’ve heard from many of you that you’d like to explore volunteering opportunities together! We’ve partnered with Haley House, an amazing non-profit in Boston that uses food with purpose and the power of community to break down barriers between people, empower individuals, and strengthen neighborhoods.

We’ll be volunteering at their food pantry to help stock the kitchen with healthy foods to be distributed to those with limited food access - event will be outside. Join us to support a great cause while enjoying each other’s company!

Please RSVP by Monday 6/26 - as we'll need to give Haley House a headcount in advance.

Additional details from Haley House:

Every Thursday, we run a food pantry and hand out between 180-200 free and culturally relevant bags of groceries to South End residents. Volunteers will be assisting with organizing and bagging groceries, breaking down cardboard, interacting with guests, unloading food and supplies, cleaning up, and more. Please wear closed-toe shoes, wear long pants and shirts with sleeves, and bring a water bottle! There is limited street parking and a parking garage (126 Dartmouth) within a 5-minute walk.
