[In-person] Walk-with-a-doc around the Brookline Reservoir (with Donna!)

Walk with a Doc is a walking program for everyone interested in taking steps for a healthier lifestyle. We will take a few minutes to learn about a current health topic from a healthcare professional, then spend the rest of the hour enjoying a health enhancing walk and fun conversation. We will start by warming up and ending with cool down stretching with a fitness professional. Our walks plan to include medical professionals who will answer your questions while walking with us. It’s a great way to get out, get active, and enjoy all the benefits that come from walking. Walk at your own pace and distance. Our healthcare topics will be geared to ages 50's through 70's. Dr Donna Michelson is starting a Walk with a Doc chapter in the Brookline-Newton area. This involves doing a free walk around the Brookline Reservoir with a friendly group of walkers. Beginner walkers are welcome! The purpose is just to get people out and walking and, in the process, developing a sense of community while enjoying the health benefits of walking together.

Attend one walk or many- whatever you’re able to do. The targeted age range is 50’s, 60’s, and early 70’s.

Location: Brookline Park Reservoir – Brookline, MA 02445. You can enter 128 Dudley Street in your GPS. We’ll meet across the street at the intersection of Dudley St and Dudley Way. Parking is free and plentiful on Dudley Way and Dudley Street bordering the reservoir.
