Networking 101

Hello Everyone! I wanted to reboot this group by starting out with some networking tips.

Let's face it. Applying for jobs online is really broken right now!

But did you know that approximately 70% of jobs are found through networking? And that a lot of jobs that aren't even posted, because they get filled through word of mouth?

We all hear networking is a good idea but the thought of it makes most of us feel a little queasy. I'd like to talk about how to approach it and ways to do both "soft" and "targeted" networking, while remaining authentic.
