Playing with Traffic IV

Details
"Playing with Traffic" is the theme we have for programmers with code-based projects about cars, traffic, navigation, etc.
Thanks to Spaces Noma (https://www.spacesworks.com/washington-dc/noma/) for hosting us in their new location in the historic Uline Arena (above REI). Doors open at 6:00 with pizza courtesy of Mapbox (https://www.mapbox.com/) (BYOB!); program is from 6:30 to 8:00 (doors close 8:30).
We expect about 50 chairs to be available, but with plenty of standing room. Our speakers are:
β’ Maxim Leyzerovich (http://round.is/) will show how he made a web site (http://v2fzagluz3rvbg.com/) with Washington DCβs 100+ security cameras.
β’ Xiao-Feng Xie (http://www.wiomax.com/team/xie/) will share his transportation safety analysis made by fusing traffic crash and violation data.
β’ Nick Marinelli of MAGFest (https://www.magfest.org/)will talk about traffic-based video games.
β’ Janine Yoong (https://twitter.com/janineyoong) will show how Mapillary uses computer vision (http://blog.mapillary.com/product/2017/08/08/visualizing-ai-detections-for-improved-map-editing.html) on top of the Vistas Dataset to generate map data used by autonomous cars and intelligent delivery robots.
β’ Antonio Zugaldia (https://www.mapbox.com/about/team/antonio-zugaldia/) will show how he coded his robocar (http://www.androidrobocar.com/): a (small) autonomous car made from scratch.
β’ Mikel Maron (https://www.mapbox.com/about/team/mikel-maron/) will show how Mapbox Cities (https://www.mapbox.com/cities/) worked with DDOT Vision Zero (http://www.dcvisionzero.com/) to build an open data model (https://blog.mapbox.com/open-cities-are-smarter-safer-cities-fd1c66099618) of traffic incidents.
β’ Jacob Ellena (https://www.mapbox.com/about/team/jacob-ellena/) will showcase the Maps for Unity SDK (https://www.mapbox.com/unity) and how to incorporate real-time traffic into your next Unity project (https://www.mapbox.com/api-documentation/#introduction).
