Bike Hack Night is a show & tell of bicycle-related apps, data visualizations, and gadgets: anything built with code. Doors open at 6:00. The program begins at 6:30.

We'll be hosted by Development Seed, which has also generously offered to spring for a keg and some soft drinks. (Blagden Alley can be entered via 9th St or N St.) And many thanks to Coord for sponsoring pizzas. Our speakers are:

๐Ÿšฒ Matt Fowle: bike light that shows rider's heartbeat
๐Ÿšฒ George Silva: forecasting trail usage using automated machine learning
๐Ÿšฒ Daniel Schep: crowdsourced map of fixit-stands and bike pumps
๐Ÿšฒ Daniel Schep: mapping bike trails
๐Ÿšฒ Jacob Baskin: trip planning combining bike share and transit

Our hashtag is #bikehacknight (https://twitter.com/hashtag/bikehacknight). Follow @techiesdc (https://twitter.com/techiesdc) for "Transportation Techies" updates. Speaker handles at http://mvjantzen.com/meetup/bikehacknight9.html

We overbook the venue due to historic levels of no-shows. This means there may not be comfortable space for everyone. Please help us manage the event by remembering to cancel your RSVP if your plans change. This opens up an opportunity for someone on the wait list.

Bike parking: there are no racks in Blagden Alley. People tend to lock up to the vacant lot's chain-link fence; or look for meters and signs on 9th St or N St.
