Transport yourself to another place and time as we walk the historical sites of Melbourne and surrounds such as abandoned railways, tramways and other areas of industrial archaeology plus areas of natural history and historic houses. We can also spend some time locating lost history that has been covered by suburbia. Doing our own archaeology if you will, and meet once a month to discuss such history, upcoming and future events.

Please note that while walking is an important component of this group, the emphasis will be on observation and investigating historic items and archaeology. So, if you are into power walking or pace setting, then perhaps this group isn't for you. It's about the journey from A to B and not how fast we arrive at the destination.
