We’re kicking off 2026 back where it started.
Join us in the Broadmeadow Brook neighborhood for our first cleanup of the season. There’s plenty to pick up, and it makes a difference fast.
Meet:
Our Lady of Mount Carmel parking lot

Plan:
We’ll clean for about an hour, then walk over together to Palma’s Italian Café for a hang after. It’s been around since 1979 and is about as classic as it gets.

Neighborhood Notes
Right nearby is Broad Meadow Brook Wildlife Sanctuary, a 400-acre preserve and the largest urban wildlife sanctuary in New England.
We won’t be cleaning there, but it’s worth knowing:
- It helps absorb stormwater and reduce flooding
- It improves local air and water quality
- It supports a wide range of plant and animal life
- It gives this part of Worcester a real green buffer
