๐ฆ Trash Talk Worcester x Worcester Litter Community Cleanup
Details
Well friends, after two rainouts already this season, the weather has finally decided to cooperate (we hope). That means this will officially be our FIRST Trash Talk Worcester cleanup of the 2026 season.
And what better way to kick things off than by teaming up with our wonderful friend of the group and fellow community organizer, Paul from Worcester Litter (@ipickupworcesterlitterverywell)!
10:00 AM โ Meet at Hamilton Street + Plantation Street
10:00โ11:30 AM โ Community cleanup around the intersection and neighboring streets
11:30 AMโ12:00 PM โ Wrap up, sort supplies, and take a group photo
12:00 PM โ Walk to Taste Great Cakes for treats + hang time
We'll be joining Paul, Councilor Robert Bilotta, and neighbors from around the community to clean up the Hamilton/Plantation area and surrounding streets.
A heads up: it's going to be a scorcher, with temperatures expected around 84ยฐ. Please come prepared with:
- Sunscreen, hats, and sun protection
- Plenty of water
- Gloves, pickers, buckets, and any cleanup gear you'd like to use
As always, I'll have some extra supplies available if you need them.
After the cleanup, we'll cool off with a stop at Taste Great Cakes, a family-run neighborhood bakery known for its incredible custom cakes and delicious ready-made treats. They typically have cake slices, cupcakes, pastries, chocolate-covered goodies, and ice cream available.
For my fellow vegan friends: unfortunately they don't usually have vegan options in the ready-made case, so I'll bring along a vegan snack to share with anyone in that camp.
Whether you're a longtime Trash Talk regular or joining us for the first time, we'd love to have you there. Let's finally get this season started, make a visible impact, and spend a few hours with some of Worcester's finest humans.
See you Saturday!
