I'm excited to announce the Travel & Culture Groups most colorful event of the year; Mexico & Dia de los Muertos!!!

It’s time to bring a splash of color, music, and tradition to October! This isn’t a Halloween party (sorry), but rather a joyful tradition from Mexico that reminds us to celebrate life, remember loved ones, and enjoy the beauty of culture.

We’ll explore the rich traditions of Mexico’s Día de los Muertos — a holiday filled with meaning! Expect an evening of cultural magic, some dancing, insights into Mexico and their traditions, and movement that will leave you smiling.

Bring your friends, family, neighbors (or that one coworker who keeps saying they “need to get out more”) ... the more the merrier! The event is FREE and open to the public — just bring your curiosity and your love of travel and/or culture!

Schedule:
6:30 PM: Social time – Grab a drink, mingle, and meet fellow travelers
7 PM: Presentation; Mexico & Dia de los Muertos celebration
8 PM-ish: Event finishes

This event is at the German American Society, which is opening just for our Travel & Culture Group. We’ll have plenty of parking, a variety of drinks for purchase (including imported German beer, and a variety of spirits, and refreshing non-alcoholic options). Looking forward to seeing everyone there!
