Travel Bug has been hosting Saturday talks for over twenty years!

Inspiration from author Sam Bloch 's book "Shade, " combined with perspiration induced by this year 's record heat, presenter Ken Hughes promotes shade as an inexpensive yet effective antidote. Drawing from examples of shade here in Santa Fe as well as places around the globe, Hughes explores the deeper meaning of shade and how it offers instances of lifesaving ways to thwart heat stroke as well as striking images of shade and its cousin, shadows. Enjoy a free beer or glass of wine at this event thanks to the Sierra Club 's Northern Group.
