Dominating northern Namibia, Etosha is one of Africa’s greatest wildlife sanctuaries. The park is centered around a massive salt pan so large it can be seen from space. During the dry season, the waterholes become a theater of nature, where predators and prey congregate in high numbers.

• Etosha South: Etosha South delivers the park at its most elemental: vast salt pans shimmering in the heat, acacia-dotted plains, and waterholes that draw in a steady procession of wildlife. At Okaukuejo’s floodlit waterhole, elephants materialize from the dark and rhinos move like shadows, offering one of Namibia’s most atmospheric wildlife encounters. The open terrain makes for rewarding self-drives, where lions sprawl in the grass and herds of zebra stripe the horizon. Here we find the classic Etosha image play out—dust, drama, and density!
• Etosha East: offers a more intimate safari, where grassy plains and pan fringes create a softer, more varied landscape. Around Namutoni, elephant herds move steadily through open country and waterholes feel less crowded, allowing unhurried, immersive sightings. With seasonal birdlife at Fischer’s Pan and wide horizons glowing at sunset, the east carries a sense of space and subtle beauty that lingers long after the drive ends.
• Morning & Afternoon Game Drives: Venture into the park at dawn and dusk when the wildlife is most active in search of lions, leopards, rhinos, and towering giraffes. Capture the "Etosha moment" where herds of oryx and zebra congregate at waterholes, often shadowed by lions or rare black rhino.
