Women aged 25 to 59 looking for adventure, fun, travel and other women to share it with on one of our group tours! Travel Queen is a small, one-woman tour operator business with a very personal story that I'm passionate about sharing with other women interested in living life to the full and meeting other women to travel with. We have a genuine, growing community of likeminded women who could become not only your future travel buddies but friends for life, and offer real, face to face meet ups in the UK and adventures overseas in places like Croatia, Thailand, Vietnam & Cambodia and all the exciting new places we have coming soon too!
I set up Travel Queen because there wasn't a group tour company out there offering what I was looking for, when I found myself going through a divorce in my early 30s, and now I'm on a mission to encourage more women to travel and do something just for themselves - because I’m a big believer that life's too short not to make the most of it!
I create all our tours from my experiences of travelling in each destination and design them as 'adventures with style’, because we really explore places and see and do a lot, but we also stay in amazing accommodation and travel in style, with a few luxuries along the way!
At the moment I travel with every group on each tour too, to look after everything and make sure you have a fab time and can focus on exploring and making new friends, so you can rest assured you’re in good hands! I’ve never come across any other tour company that has the owner of the business doing this, that you can also chat to or meet in person at events in the UK before you go too.

If you are a woman over 59, please know that I have only put an age limit on our tours following feedback from women of all ages who have told me it's important to them that they don't feel too much younger or older than the women they share their trip with, and that they want to know the age range when booking one of our tours.
There are lots of women outside of this age range that are interested in our adventures, so if this is something you might be interested in hearing about in the future and if we get enough interest, it is something I would love to be able to offer, so please let me know by emailing me your contact details at mel@travel-queen.co.uk.

✨3 day Edinburgh Hogmanay New Year's Eve Break!✨

It’s one of my fave UK cities that I’ve got to know well, and one of the world’s most famous places to ring in the New Year, so I'm super excited to invite you to join me and other women in our community on this new 3 day, 2 night break! 🥳
Hogmanay is the Scottish word for New Year’s Eve, considered the most important Scottish holiday as Christmas was virtually banned in Scotland for around 400 years so, until the 1950s many Scots worked over Christmas and celebrated their winter solstice holiday at New Year. So, simply put, the Scots know how to do NYE right! 🥳🙌
The highlight of Hogmanay is a massive outdoor street party beneath the iconic Edinburgh Castle, which is illuminated with a show stopping midnight fireworks display, then everyone joins hands to belt out ‘Auld Lang Syne’ before continuing to party into the wee hours! 😁
