This is the perfect itinerary to discover Tibetan culture and beautiful sceneries. You will see sacred Yamdrok Lake and karo glacier with beautiful views of Mt. Everest and even get to Everest Base Camp. 🤩

🏜 Lhasa - You will visit all of Lhasa major sites (Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street, Drepung, and Sera monastery)

⛰ Everest Base Camp - You will spend one night at EBC! From there, you will have the best view on Mt. Everest, the highest mountain in the world

🏞 Yamdrok Lake - It is a freshwater lake in Tibet, also one of the three largest sacred lakes in Tibet. The lake is surrounded by many snow-capped mountains and is fed by numerous small streams.

💮 Shigatse - It sits in the plain at the confluence of the Yarlong Tsangpo and Nyangchu Rivers, where Tibet's most fertile land is to be found.

✨Itinerary✨

💮 Day 1: Arrive in Lhasa

Arrive in Lhasa and check-in the hotel.

Stay at 3* hotel

💮 Day 2: Visit Lhasa

Potala palace & Jokhang temple

Today's tour will first bring you to the Potala Palace and then Jokhang temple.

Stay in 3* hotel.

💮 Day 3: Visit Lhasa

Drepung & Sera monastery

Stay overnight in Lhasa (3* hotel).

💮 Day 4: Lhasa > Shigatse

In the morning, drive from Lhasa to Shigatse. On the way, drive over the Gampala pass, and stop to have a glimpse of Yamdrok lake. In the distance, you can have a spectacular view of Holy Mount Nyenchen Khangsar (7191m) and later on of the Korola Glacier.

You will then arrive in Gyantse and visit the famous Pelkor Monastery and Gyantse Kumbum and enjoy the view of Gyangtse Fortress. After one and a half hour's driving, you will arrive in Shigatse, which is the second-largest city in Tibet.

Stay overnight in Shigatse (hotel).

💮 Day 5 : Shigatse > Rongpuk 340km Everest Base Camp

In the morning, you will leave Shigatse and drive to Lhatse, a small town where you can have lunch. After that passing Tsola Pass and Gyatsola Pass, you will reach Mt. Everest National Nature Reserve.

Once at Everest Base Camp and if time and weather allow, you will wait there and see the amazing sunset at Everest peak.

Stay overnight (humble accomodation, dorm or tent house at Rongbuk).

💮 Day 6

EBC > Shigatse 340km

In the morning, you can see the sunrise of Everest Peak at the lodging area - if the weather allows.

Then you will visit the Rongbuk Monastery - the unique highest monastery with nuns and monks living together.

After that, you will head back to Shigatse. Stay overnight in Shigatse (3* hotel).

💮 Day 7: Shigatse > Lhasa 270km

Today, you will visit Tashilunpo Monastery of gelug Sect, the seat of the Panchen Lama, and the host of some maganificent statue and tumb of the Panchen Lamas. After that, we will drive back to Lhasa following Yalong Valley.

Stay overnight in Lhasa (3* hotel).
