Pondicherry Weekend Backpacking Trip

Get ready for a laid-back yet vibrant weekend getaway to Pondicherry, one of India’s most soulful coastal towns. Officially known as Puducherry, this Union Territory is a blend of a perfect slow retreat and the remnants of a forgotten colonial town still trying to make its mark in the modern world. You do not go to Pondicherry to rush through the town, but instead go there to slow down and explore its hidden nooks and corners. Artistic streets, mouth-watering desserts, a slow-paced life and the blue waters are what make up Pondicherry.
Day 0 – Friday

• Depart from Bengaluru in the evening

Day 1 – Saturday

• Arrive early morning and head to Rock Beach for sunrise
• Freshen up and breakfast at the stay
• Visit Auroville & view the Matrimandir (from outside)
• Explore French Colony (White Town) — cafés, colours & colonial charm
• Evening at Rock Beach with street food & seaside vibes
• Overnight stay in Pondicherry

Day 2 – Sunday

• Breakfast and checkout
• Visit Notre Dame des Anges Church & Pondicherry Lighthouse
• Boat ride to Paradise Beach for relaxed beach time

Inclusion

• Entire travel as per the itinerary by AC Tempo Traveller / Mini Bus
• Breakfast on Day 1 & Day 2

• Accommodation on triple/quad sharing basis in AC rooms with pool access

• Anything not mentioned under inclusions.
• Travel, accidental and medical insurance.
• Entry fees and activity charges at Paradise Beach, including sand dune activities and boating.
• Mangrove Forest boat ride charges.
• Any additional cost arising due to uncontrollable circumstances such as bad weather, roadblocks, landslides, or public disturbances.
• GST @ 5%.
