Zadar Croatia. 5 Nights Stunning National Parks, Waterfalls & Islands boat trip

Join Travel Buddies as we explore a different part of Croatia, the gorgeous Northern Dalmation Region. We will spend time enjoying lakes and waterfalls in the Plitvice National Park, take a full day boat trip exploring some of the and exploring the coastal city of Zadar which even has its own organ that is played by the sea.

With cheap flights from Stansted over the Bank holiday weekend this promises to be a sunny, amazing trip. You can also join this trip from an airport that is more suitable to yourself.

Day 1. Wednesday 22nd May
After meeting at the airport and arriving in Zadar in the late afternoon we will take a private transfer to our hotel (around 20 minutes) where we will be staying for the next 5 nights.

The hotel Idassa Palace is 3* and in the heart of the old town. just minutes walk from all of the "must See's" in Zadar including the sea.

We will be sharing twin rooms and breakfast is included each morning. you can have a room to yourself if you wish you wish for a supplement of £120 for the 5 nights. You will need to pay this at the same time as the balance.

Day 2. Thursday 23rd May
After a leisurely breakfast we will walk in to Zadar, where we will join a walking tour. The tour is an informative and leisurely walk which will last around 2 hours. Our guide will show us the entire spectrum of monuments and hidden corners, taking us into the past more than 3000 years.

After the walking tour has finished we have free time to enjoy Zadar.

Sea Organ
We really must see ( and listen to) the "Sea Organ", and how the sound of the sea can turn into a song.

The Travel Buddies trips work on the basis that as long as you are having a good time then that is what matters, if you don't feel like coming on one of the excursions or joining the rest of the group for dinner one evening then that is absolutely fine. This is an adventure for everyone and there is nothing worse than having to go somewhere/do something that you don't really fancy!

Feel free to do as much or as little research as you like, some members will know what they would like to visit as soon as they book the trip, Others will just turn up at the airport and have not researched at all. Either is absolutely fine. We all have different ideas as to what constitutes a great time away!

Final evening dinner locally.

Day 3. Friday 24th May
This morning after breakfast we will board the minibus to take us on a full day out to Plitvice National Park and Waterfalls. The park has a very simple route to walk and we will see most of the best places in around 90 minutes walking . The rest of the time we can spend around lake, doing different boat tours , kayaking , having a picnic or eating in the restaurant... The entrance to the park which includes a boat ride across the lake is not included and is 27 Euros.

After being dropped back to the hotel in the late afternoon we will eat dinner local to the hotel.

Day 4. Saturday 25th May
Today is a free day, relax, explore the choice is ours. For the sun worshippers amongst the group your tan should be building quite nicely now, and there are so many gorgeous beaches that we can share taxis to for the day if we fancy a change of beach scenery :)

There are many different galleries and museums to be explored in Zadar if that is your sort of thing.....

Dinner locally

Day 5 Sunday 26th May
After breakfast we will take the short walk to the meeting point of a full day tour at sea. We will hop aboard Gostilje, a wooden boat, for a day of seafaring adventure. We'll head out to Kornati National Park and Telascica Nature Park, where we'll have plenty of time to swim, hike, and take photos of the natural surroundings. We then head to Kornat Island for a grilled lunch served of grilled meat or fish with heavenly Croatian wine or soft drinks before heading back to shore. The perfect day!

Day 6. Monday 27th May
After checking out of the hotel we will be able to store our luggage safely and have the last few hours to enjoy the sun before taking our private transfer to the airport at around 15.00

What's not Included
You need to book your own flights and they are with these are with Ryanair and are just £93.98 as of today (not including luggage) I would advise to book your flight as soon as possible after booking on to the trip as they are likely to rise the sooner we get to the date of departure.
