Saturday, November 23: Arrive Auckland & City Tour
Our flight will arrive in the morning. We will arrive to hotel in late morning to relax and have lunch. After lunch, we'll meet our guide to discover Auckland's history, culture and scenic highlights on our afternoon Auckland sightseeing tour.

We'll set off through the city center, along the main road of Queen Street, past iconic Karangahape Road and the stylish suburb of Ponsonby. Cross over the Auckland Harbor Bridge, enjoying views of the Hauraki Gulf and city skyline. Visit the Viaduct Harbor, home to America's Cup racing for many years, and the historic buildings around the University of Auckland, before continuing to the Auckland Domain. Developed around an extinct volcano, the Domain features 75 hectares of open spaces, tropical gardens, duck ponds and public art, and is home to the Auckland War Memorial Museum.

Stop for a short afternoon tea break (own expense) at historic Parnell Village. Next, travel the stunning waterfront route of Tamaki Drive to Michael Joseph Savage Memorial Park. Named after one of New Zealand's greatest and most popular Prime Ministers, the park, with its formal gardens and tranquil atmosphere, offers a panoramic outlook over the picturesque Eastern Bays, Auckland city and the Waitemata Harbor.
Overnight Auckland

Sunday, November 24: Fly to Christchurch & Lake Tekapo
We'll transfer to the airport for our morning flight to Christchurch, arriving late morning. Our transfer to Lake Tekapo will start straight from the airport, making stops for scenic photos and lunch in the quaint town of Geraldine.
Once we arrive to Lake Tekapo, below are some things we finish our day with:
-Photo Church of Good Shepard
Church of the Good Shepherd is the most photographed building in New Zealand. That’s likely because it’s impossible to take a bad photo of this quaint church with the stunning backdrop of Lake Tekapo and the Southern Alps
-Fields of Lupins
Lake Tekapo is also famous for its huge amount of lupins! See the lupins bloom their purple and pink flowers during the summer season.
-Best View of Lake Tekapo
We'll drive up to visit the Mount John University Observatory for incredible views and a great cup of coffee
-Optional Evening Springs
Tekapo Springs and spend some time lazing in the warm water. Sauna, pools, and gorgeous views.
