About us
International and Domestic Group Trips for Adults 50+ — open to travelers all across the U.S! We’re a lively, young-at-heart group of adventurers who love to explore the world—together. Whether you’re single, a couple, retired, or still working —we’ve got a spot for you. Most of our crew is over 60, but age is just a number here. What matters is your spirit of adventure and your love of great company! We're the best group tours for 50+ in the U.S!
Our trips are designed with mature travelers in mind—fun, enriching, safe, and always full of laughter. If you’ve ever hesitated to travel solo, this is your chance to join a warm, welcoming community of like-minded explorers. Many of our members travel without partners, and we often pair people up to help share costs and avoid the dreaded single supplement.
Best of all? Lifelong friendships are practically guaranteed. Personally, I’ve gained so many wonderful friends through this group—and I know you will too.
We also host regular local meetups in Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, and Houston. It’s a great way to meet your future travel buddies face-to-face before your next big adventure. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for event updates.
We had an Informational Zoom Call with Traveling Texans 50+ last April 27, 2025 where we showcase our exciting land tours and cruises for 2025-2026—including a range of trips that cater to various travel experiences and price points. You can watch the recording by clicking the link below:

This means you’re an on-the-go traveler. You don’t want to miss a thing, so walking and standing for longer periods of time (2-3 hours) isn’t a big deal. A moderately paced two-and-a-half-hour walking tour, covering several miles, hills, and uneven surfaces, is no problem for you. Walking four miles over the course of a day is very doable, as is climbing into and out of various modes of transportation (tuk-tuk, cable car, zodiac, etc.). You can climb three flights of stairs easily and handle altitudes between 6,000 and 9,000 feet. Expect some longer days with early mornings or late nights balanced with free time to recharge or set out on your own adventure. This level is not a fit for travelers who require mobility assistance devices.
