Screams In the Dark

Costumes encouraged but not required!

Let’s take a walk through some spooky attractions this October at the annual screams in the dark event. This year they are out in Kalkaska instead of their usual past location at the Northwestern Michigan Fairgrounds.

Screams In The Dark is Northern Michigan’s Largest Haunted event – and for 2023 we are getting even bigger! Our new permanent location sits on 43 acres. Guests will experience: The Town of Blackwood Hollow, Blackwood Manor, Trail of The Lost with 9 areas to terrify you, Grimfell Asylum, and our new Midway. We look forward to growing our new location for years to come!
