Harishchandragadh Trek and Camping

We at Travolution are glad to invite you for Camping and trek to Harishchandragadh/Konkankada and Taramati peak, 2nd highest peak of Maharashtra. Most local treks are not adventurous enough for experienced trekkers. But this one to Harishchandragad is physically daunting and visually rewarding! Climbing at almost 80 degrees to a concave cliff that looks like a cobra’s hood, a trekker will surely have stories to narrate after this trek.

Itinerary

Day 0 27th January 2017 Friday.

09:30 pm - Meet at Kalyan West St Bus depot and board ST bus.

Day 1 28th January 2017 Saturday. 12:30 am - Reach Kubhi Phata and take a 6kms walk to Khireshwar Village.
01:00 am - Reach base village have tea and rest.
04:00 am - Start trek
09:00 am - Reach Harishchandragadh and rest followed by breakfast.
10:30 am - Trek to Taramati, Maharashtras 2nd highest peak.
01:00 pm - Back to Harishchandragadh/Lunch.
02:00 pm - Explore Harishchandragadh.
04:00 pm - Hike towards Konkankada.
04:30 pm - Reach Konkankada and settle in tents. Enjoy the sunset from Konkankada followed by Antakshari/Games,Bonfire and Dinner. Day 2 29th January 2017 Sunday. 08:00 am - Wake up, freshen up followed by breakfast.
08:30 am - Start Desend to Pachnai village.
10:45 am - Board ST from Pachnai village followed by lunch on the way.
3:00 pm - Reach Kasara Station.
