Let's RALLY in Nampa

Polyamorous people should attend a No Kings Day event because the same forces working to erase LGBTQ+ and nontraditional relationships from schools and libraries are also pushing to criminalize or stigmatize consensual, adult relationships that don’t fit a narrow definition of family.

Books about polyamory have been labeled as “pornography” and free expression is being threatened under the current administration. This authoritarian shift aims to silence diverse identities and enforce rigid norms.

Showing up for No Kings Day is a powerful way to say: our love, our stories, and our freedom to choose how we relate and live are not up for erasure or control.

Nampa, ID – June 10, 2025 – On Saturday, June 14, residents of Nampa and surrounding communities will gather on the steps of Nampa City Hall (411 3rd St S, Nampa, ID 83651) from 5:30 to 7:30 PM Mountain Time as part of a sweeping national day of action known as “No Kings Day.”

Over 1,500 events are planned across the country to stand against authoritarianism, political violence, and the erosion of democratic institutions—specifically in response to increasing authoritarian behavior by Donald Trump and his allies. Participants in Nampa will join millions of Americans to assert: no thrones, no crowns, no kings.
