Join us for the Treats & Language Cultural Exchange, a group where we can enjoy treats from around the world while practicing English and language conversation. This group encourages cultural exchange and building friendships in a relaxed environment.

About the co-founders
We are Andrew and Emiko, an international couple working hard to start "Harenohi/Sunny Days," a multicultural community group in Nagaokakyo City, Kyoto. Having met in a TESOL program, we are each passionate about languages in our own way! Emiko is a licensed Japanese teacher passionate about supporting immigrant students and Japanese language learners in Japan. Andrew, who was a licensed French teacher in the United States, has been teaching languages for almost 10 years across four different countries and is excited about creating cultural exchange opportunities in Japan. In addition, he is passionate about cooking and baking [Instagram]. Together, our goal is to support both Japanese and English learners in a safe space where everyone learns, connects, and shares cultures through events and language support.

主催者について
私たちは、京都の長岡京市で多文化コミュニティグループ「Harenohi/Sunny Days」の立ち上げに尽力している、国際カップル、アンドリューとえみこです。TESOL プログラムで出会った私たちは、それぞれ独自の方法で言語に情熱を注いでいます。えみこは、日本に住む移民の学生や日本語学習者を支援することに情熱を注ぐ、日本語教師の資格を持つ教師です。アンドリューは 、米国で教師の資格を取得し、4 カ国で 10 年近く言語教育に携わってきた経験があり、日本での文化交流の機会の創出に情熱を注いでいます。　さらに、アンドリューの趣味は料理です[Instagram]。目標は、イベントや言語サポートを通じて、メンバーが学び、つながり、文化を共有できる安全な空間を作ることです。
