TreeFolks Young Professionals & Super Volunteers are teaming up for a hands-on workshop and volunteer day! We’ll learn how to identify and remove invasive glossy privet (Ligustrum lucidum) in its tracks. We’ll be working together with the Friends of Copperfield Nature Trails to restore the woods for native plants to thrive.

You must be an active TFYP member for this event - sign up at tfyp.org

When: Saturday, September 27, 9:00 AM to Noon

Where: 11700 Dessau Rd, Austin, TX 78754

Parking: Free parking is available behind the Mi Casa Market, and on neighborhood streets.

What to Wear: We will be working in the brush, so long pants and sturdy shoes are a must. If you wish to avoid scratched up arms, long sleeves are a good idea.

We’ll head to Austin Beerworks - Sprinkle Valley for lunch afterwards.
