Film #2 BATMAN RETURNS 1992.

Details
It was great to hold our first night with the Batman that launched arguably a thousand super hero movie film ships.
'Meow' *BANG!*
Our festive film, because it's dark wintery and has a Christmas tree lighting ceremony. The Batman returns and is my personal favourite Batman film. It ignited my imagination and i went back to the cinema to see if three times on release in 1992.
We'll have another short video essay going into the background of the film but remaining spoiler free! Remember you can message me with any short films you might have that you'd like to put up for showing if you feel it would fit with our chosen film. If we feel we can't show your film we'll give feedback and it might go into another showing down the line.
Bar shall be open for refreshments on the night until 22:30.
Our aim with this grouo: To start a bespoke film club. its early days just yet but with enough regulars we will start to take requests that will get put to the vote and if people are keen and the interest is there a comittee for programming eventually too. We'd like to program based on themes and particular seasons on directors and actors. Short film showings, talks, National theatre showings ... All at our nice little theatrical venue Trestle theatre.
We're pushing to upgrade facilities and making plans behind the scenes to really push the experience into something a bit different. Not just your average jaunt to the multiplex for expensive popcorn and combo buckets.
RSVP here and pay on the door or visit trestle.org to book online
