Wadboo Creek Kayaking

One of the best places for a Lowcountry paddle! Kayak a shady river with moss-draped cypress, ferns and limestone bluff on one part of the creek. Then marsh grasses, abandoned rice fields and a blend of hardwoods on the other part of the creek. It's time for Swamp Roses, Spider Lilies, Spadderdock, and other flowers to bloom. Plus those cute little Prothonotary Warblers are back! And, Osprey, Great Blue Herons, Egrets and turtles are usually hanging out enjoying the sun!

$35+tax/person to rent kayak/gear- includes kayak, paddle, PFD, whistle and we bring to landing. Call 843-697-2812 by Thursday, 5/08/25 for rental. Rentals are paid in advance and provided by Blueway Adventures.

$15/person if bringing your own kayak/gear (BYOE). Whistle and PFD required by SCDNR. You can bring cash day of paddle or call 843-697-2812 to prepay with credit card.

Kayaks 12' and longer are highly recommended. No inflatables permitted.

Water, snack, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, shoes that can get wet (no flip flops due to slip hazard).
