Wadboo Creek Kayaking
Details
One of the best places for a Lowcountry paddle! Kayak a shady creek with moss-draped cypress, ferns and limestone bluff on one part of the creek. Then marsh grasses, abandoned rice fields and a blend of hardwoods on the other part of the creek. Revolutionary War history and fabulous wildlife including herons, egrets, turtles and maybe a gator are fun reasons to kayak Wadboo. Beautiful flowers like yellow water primrose, spadderdock and others are blooming. Plus those cute little Prothonotary Warblers are still hanging around! Join us for a great time on the water!
$35/person to rent kayak/gear- includes kayak, paddle, PFD, whistle and we bring to landing. Call 843-697-2812 by Wednesday, 6/10/26 for rental. Rentals are paid in advance and provided by Blueway Adventures. **You must call to rent kayak/gear. An RSVP alone does not get you a kayak rental.**
$15/person if bringing your own kayak/gear (BYOE). Whistle and PFD required by SCDNR. You can bring cash day of paddle or call 843-697-2812 to prepay with credit card.
Kayaks 12' and longer are highly recommended. No inflatables permitted.
Water, snack, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, shoes that can get wet (no flip flops due to slip hazard).
Please note trip duration varies depending on water/weather conditions and group. Return time is estimated.
