CANCELLED - Pond Bluff Kayaking

Paddle along shaded shorelines and through tall Cypress trees. We'll visit the Pond Bluff area where Francis Marion's home was located. Osprey and Bald Eagles! Anhinga, Green Herons, Cormorants and other wading birds are often seen on this paddle. We'll land on a sandy beach with plenty of shade and great area for swimming!

$35/person to rent kayak/gear- includes kayak, paddle, PFD, whistle and we bring to landing. Call 843-697-2812 by Wednesday, 06/17/2026, for rental. Rentals are paid in advance with credit card and provided by Blueway Adventures. You must call if you want to rent kayak/gear. RSVP alone does provide rental.

$15/person for those bringing your own kayak/gear (BYOE). Whistle and PFD required by SCDNR. Kayaks 12' and longer are highly recommended. No inflatables permitted. You can bring cash day of paddle or call 843-697-2812 to prepay with credit card.

NOTE: There is a $5/kayak launch fee paid to the landing. Bring cash. There are restrooms at this landing.

Bring water, snack/lunch, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, shoes that can get wet. Swimwear if you want to go swimming!
